On Saturday, 19 October 2024, the Crawford International Sandton College learners gathered at Fidelitas School for the final session of the Grade 8 Mathematics outreach programme. This initiative was made possible through the collaborative efforts of our students, teachers, and supporting organizations, has been a resounding success. Throughout the year, our dedicated students volunteered their time to tutor Grade 8 students from Fidelitas Comprehensive School. The tutors provided valuable guidance and support in Mathematics.

We extend our sincerest gratitude to the Dischem Foundation for generously providing stationery and prizes for Fidelitas students. The Foundation’s commitment to education and community development is truly commendable. We also appreciate the Interact Club’s efforts to prepare delicious meals for the students and volunteers. The day culminated in a prize-giving ceremony, where outstanding students were recognized for their hard work and progress. The atmosphere was filled with excitement and pride as the students received their well-deserved awards. We look forward to witnessing the long-term benefits of this initiative. We are confident that the seeds sown will yield a brighter academic future for these young minds.

We encourage all students, parents, and staff to participate in future outreach programmes to foster a culture of community service and social responsibility. Together, we can empower the next generation of leaders and change-makers. To our teachers, students, and the ERF Foundation: we thank you for your tireless dedication and contributions to this outreach programme. Your passion for education and community service has made a tangible impact on the lives of these young learners.
