The Creston College Group 4 and Grade R classes have both had pets visiting the Pre-primary for “Show and Tell” as part of the pets’ theme. A few dogs, a hamster, a chick and even a horse came to visit. Not sure who was more excited at the last swimming lesson of the first term.  Parents, grandparents, and guardians were invited to watch the children taking part in the “Learn to Swim” programme by Mandy and her team of swimming coaches. Remember to practice the rules the children have learned this term when in or around a pool.

1. Always swim in the presence of an adult. Never swim alone!
2. No running around a pool.
3. No pushing or holding onto anyone in the pool.
4. If you accidently fall in a pool, turn and swim to the closest side/wall.
