Chelsea Preparatory School Celebrates Academic Excellence At 2025 Grade 7 Prize Giving

Chelsea Preparatory School proudly hosted its 2025 Grade 7 Prize Giving ceremony, a prestigious event dedicated to recognising and celebrating the exceptional academic achievements of its senior pupils. The occasion brought together pupils, parents, and teachers to honour dedication, perseverance, and outstanding scholastic performance. The highlight of the evening was the awarding of the 2025 Dux Award to Levi Vermeulen, who achieved an extraordinary aggregate of 92%. The title of Dux Proxime Accessit was awarded to Matthew Mathanlal, with an impressive aggregate of 89%. Third in Grade 7 was shared by Danielle Chutergon, Kaelyn Smit, Jared Hurst, and Emily Meyer, each achieving 88%.
Principal Mr. Grant Maartens addressed the gathering, expressing pride in all pupils:
“We are very proud of the success achieved by all our pupils, not just our prize winners but also their fellow classmates, on their outstanding results and achievements this year.” The 2025 Grade 7 Prize Giving marked a fitting conclusion to the academic year, celebrating not only the top achievers but also the qualities of hard work, personal growth, and resilience embodied by all pupils at Chelsea Preparatory School.
