Waterfall College Shines at the IEB AI Hackathon! On 21 May, our students took part in the IEB AI Hackathon, held in partnership with TechWays. We were proudly represented by four teams — one in the Grade 6 to 8 category and three in the Grade 9 to 12 category. In an outstanding display of creativity, collaboration and problem solving, two of our teams were selected as finalists and achieved a Top 10 national ranking out of more than 60 participating schools. Our top performing Grade 6 to 8 team was Riley C, Jocelyn K and Jacob M, and the Grade 9+ team was Gabriel K, Tristan C, Sinethemba M and Lucca B. Our students showed a real commitment to using AI to tackle real-world issues — ethically and intelligently. Congratulations to all the students who participated.
