Holy Family College Durban was visited by two Brazilian Academics on Wednesday 1 February 2023. Prof Dr Solange Wagner Locatelli, Federal University of ABC, Brazil and Prof Dr Leonardo Andre Testoni, Federal University of São Paulo, Brazil, are currently in South Africa participating in an academic and technical visit to the School of Education, University of KwaZulu-Natal.

They will be engaged in presenting workshops on the 3rd and 4th February to Foundation phase pre-service and in-service teachers on Inquiry-based Learning Analysis through Design-based Research. Comparative analysis with South African and Brazilian teachers will be undertaken. The teachers will be engaged in the design of activities appropriate for the South African and Brazilian contexts.
