Empangeni High School represented at the 2025 National Reconciliation Day Commemoration

Chané Prinsloo and Ruben Smith (both Grade 8 – 2025) represented Empangeni High School at the 2025 National Reconciliation Day Commemoration, hosted by the Department of Sport, Arts and Culture at the historic Ncome Museum / Battle of Blood River site in KwaZulu-Natal.
At this prestigious national event, the learners will recite the Preamble of the Constitution of the Republic of South Africa as part of the official programme. The event will be attended by President Cyril Ramaphosa, who will deliver the Key Address, together with His Majesty King Misuzulu ka Zwelithini, King of the Zulu Nation. The learners are accompanied by Mrs R. Pretorius.Well done, Chané and Ruben — you make EHS proud!
