York High School’s chess teams delivered an outstanding performance

On Saturday, 16 August, York High’s chess teams delivered an outstanding performance at the Eden Chess Top Schools tournament held at Carpe Diem. The 1st Team impressed with their skill and determination, securing 1st place overall. Our U17 Girls Team also excelled, finishing in a strong 2nd place, while the Junior Boys Team proudly took 2nd place in their division. An incredible achievement by all our players – teamwork, focus, and Yorkie pride on full display.
