Celebrating Westville Senior Primary Grade 7 Debating Team’s Triumph! Our Grade 7 girls from the Debating Team, recently competed in the Inter-districts Debating League in celebration of Women’s Day. The competition kicked off at the V.N. Naik School for the Deaf, where our team won their first round of debates.

Their impressive journey continued on Thursday at Westville Girls High, where they secured another victory in the semi-finals. The week culminated in a triumphant win at the finals held on Friday at Pinetown Girls High, earning them the league championship title! A special congratulations to Luyanda Ndwande for receiving the award for Best Speaker of the Day on Tuesday, and to Giulianna White for earning the same accolade on Thursday.

We are incredibly proud of Suri Govender, Giulianna White, and Luyanda Ndwande for their dedication and exceptional performance throughout the competition. Well done, girls! You have made us all very proud.
