  • The Dux Proxime Accessit (runner-up to Dux) was awarded to Nicole Mukarakate who received subject awards for Life Sciences, Geography, Physical Sciences and Business Studies, as well as Full Colours for Academics.
  • Philasande Ngcobo received the Leadership Trophy which is awarded to a pupil who has shown commitment, reliability, honesty and integrity and who has been a role model to others.
  • The Principal’s Award for 2025 was given to Yolanda Bhengu. This award is given to a student who is positive and enthusiastic, emulates the values and ethos of the school and has made a difference to the school.

The ceremony concluded with the candle lighting ceremony where every matric pupil lights a candle which is symbolic of their own light and the light of our school which they will carry out into the world.
