Every year, Eskom Expo for Young Scientists hosts a series of regional science fairs in 35 regions across South Africa. School learners have the opportunity to showcase their innovative ideas, scientific research, and problem-solving skills on a competitive platform.
The Science Department at Lennoxton Primary School hosts the science fair at the school level and learners from grade 4 to 7 are given the opportunity to participate. We are proud of all the learners who have excelled in this competition over the years . Thus year, the following learners underwent a strict selection process and were selected to represent our school in the Regional Science Fair (RSF), and the awards received as follows :
Grade 4 – Surya Maghoo (Bronze)
Grade 5 – Vaishavi Singh (Silver)
Grade 6 – Nishariya Hanook (Silver )
Abhay Singh ( Silver)
Grade 7- Tiyana Ramkelawan (Silver) + a trophy for best primary school engineering project
Abdullah Lahri – (Bronze)
We sincerely thank Mr. M.Z. Dawood, Mrs. S. Prithvraj, Mrs. C. Singh, Mrs. N.D. Francis, and Mr. S. Naidoo for their support and encouragement.
