12 Learners from Richards Bay Primary School participated in the King Cetshwayo Summer Open Chess Tournament, with several achieving notable results.
Rashil won 1st in U8 with 5 wins; Devash took 2nd with 4 wins; Ande Dube tied Devash with 4 pts, placing 3rd in U12; Nqubeko secured 3rd in U14 with 4/5 pts; other participants averaged 2-3 pts.
