Rundle College against gender-based violence
On Monday the 9th of September, the male students and staff joined together to stand up against gender-based violence. Standing together for 9 minutes of silence to show solidarity against rape and violence to women came after many protests that were sparked by the recent rape and murder of UCT student, Uyinene Mrwetyana.
It is important that we stand together against the atrocities committed in our country and to support our women in the fight against the toxic culture of sexual harassment women have to deal with on a daily basis. We are extremely proud of our boys for showing up for women. Jesse Le Roux RundleCollege Head Prefect
