Curro Mosselbay Bay starts new Leadership Programme
It is exactly this that has prompted the peer education program at Curro Mossel Bay. One of the cornerstones of leadership is to enrich and bring positive change to communities and lives of others.
The learners who had the privilege in attending a leadership Summit at Harvard in Boston (USA) during June 2018, have been assigned a register class together with a member of the RCL. A year long program has been put together to cultivate leadership and responsible citizenship amongst all Curro learners.
Initially the program will focus on learners getting to know their strengths and growing awareness of personal development. The next phase of the program will encourage register classes to identify a need within the community where they can get involved. Throughout the program the Seven habits of Highly effective Teens by Sean Covey will also be woven into all activities.
Curro hopes to have another group of learners to attend the following Leadership Summit in Boston. This will ensure the enhancement and the sustainability of the peer- educator program.
