Kenridge Primary is Green
The Green Team (Kenridge’s Green Committee) was visited by someone very special recently: Mr Innocent Godo from The Glass Recycling Company came to hand over a cheque to Kenridge to honour our and our community’s efforts in terms of glass recycling. Although there are many schools that participate in the initiative, Kenridge Primary is one of the schools that recycled the most glass and was awarded second place after Bergfliet in the Western Cape. The Kenridge community recycled a rough number of 83 358 glass bottles!
We are very grateful to our Kenridge community for supporting our recycling depot. Only together can we really make a big difference to preserve and preserve our precious planet. This effort simply cannot work if everyone does not do their part.
