On Tuesday 1 Feb 2022 we celebrated the dedication, determination, and great achievements of the class of 2021. Despite disappointments and countless obstacles, they persevered, kept their eyes on their goals, and achieved phenomenal success.
To reiterate the words of our Basic Educational Minister, Angie Motshekga: “We need to understand and appreciate the magnitude of being a top learner in 2021. It is a class that really got the best of Covid. They were right in the middle of it. They did not have full Grade 11 in 2020 and here they were in 2021, having to write a paper that was set three years before Covid.”
Congratulations to the FBH class on a sterling set of results. They continued our proud tradition of academic excellence with a 100% pass rate.
- All 9 students passed with Admission to the University
- Our overall matric class average for 2021 was 67%
- False Bay High School is only one out of the two schools in the East Metropole District that has a 100% pass rate in the past 5 years
