Learners excel with perfect score in Mathematics

A remarkable milestone during the announcement of the 2023 National Senior Certificate (NSC) results through the Independent Board Exam (IEB) has highlighted the exceptional achievements of students from various prestigious schools, including some notable highlights on individual performances. Emily Bryla from Pecanwood College stands out with a remarkable achievement, securing 8 distinctions with an impressive average of 91.85%. Notably, Emily attained a perfect score in Mathematics and further distinguished herself by achieving in the IEB Top 1% for three subjects. Her outstanding academic performance earned her an Outstanding Achievement award, underscoring her dedication and excellence.

Shubham Mohta from Crawford International La Lucia has also demonstrated outstanding academic prowess, achieving 8 distinctions with an average of 88.46%. Notably, Shubham excelled in Mathematics, earning a perfect score of 100% and securing a position in the IEB Top 1% for the subject.

Nicole Booyens, the Glenwood House Dux scholar, has achieved a remarkable feat with 9 distinctions and an impressive average of 94%. Nicole not only attained a perfect score of 100% in Mathematics but also excelled in the IEB Top 1% for four subjects, including Maths. Her outstanding academic achievements have been recognized with an IEB Outstanding award.

Niharika Ganesh from Crawford International Sandton has achieved an impressive 9 distinctions, boasting an average of 93.23%. Niharika’s exceptional performance extends to achieving in the IEB Top 1% for five subjects, including Mathematics. She has also received an Outstanding Achievement award from the IEB.

Dhanvir Chandrikpersad, another high achiever from Crawford International La Lucia, has secured 7 distinctions with an average of 88.69%. Dhanvir’s excellence is further highlighted by his achievement in the IEB Top 1% in three subjects. While Shaowen Chen, also from Crawford International La Lucia, achieved an outstanding 9 distinctions with an average of 92.69%. Shaowen’s exceptional performance includes securing a position in the IEB Top 1% for four subjects, and he has been recognized with an IEB commendable achievement.

Lastly, Lanbo Zhao, another standout student from Crawford International La Lucia, achieved 8 distinctions with an average of 88.15%. Lanbo’s excellence is highlighted by his inclusion in the IEB Top 1% for Mathematics.
