Athletics

Pedri van Staden – Boys U13 Javelin and Discus

 Pedri van Staden, a Curro Bankenveld learner, competed in javelin and discus at the South African Schools Athletic Championships on 25 – 26 March 2022 in Potchefstroom. He set a personal best in javelin with a throw of 40,19 metres and placed third in the event. Curro Bankenveld is extremely proud of these learners for their exceptional performance.

Lwandile Masilela – Girls U10 Shot Put

Lwandile Masilela, a Curro Bankenveld learner, represented the Mpumalanga Athletics Team at the South African School Athletics Championships in Potchefstroom on 25 – 26 March 2022. Lwandile demonstrated excellent sportsmanship.
