Rotary Bowls Day
On the 21st of March, Dundee Rotary hosted a Rotary Bowls day. Dundee High’s Rotary Interact committee alongside the assistance of Mrs Arndt partook in this event where they were determined to take the victory – despite having little to no experience! With the help of Mrs Arndt, the team became a force to be reckoned with. President of the DHS Rotary Club, Zandisiwe says, “We were greeted with very warm and open arms and instantly felt at home upon arriving.” Despite being amateurs in the sport they were able to climb up the ranks. Everyone was extremely friendly which made the experience unforgettable. Not only did they enjoy themselves but they learned so much from their fellow competitors as well. At the end of the day the DHS Interactors left as one of the overall prize winners! This was amazing exposure for the students and they enthusiastically encourage more younger players to consider participating in the sport.
