Greyton House shares some fond memories of 2018
A huge congratulations to two of our seniors who took 1st & 3rd place at the Genadendal Mission Museum English Speech Competition!
We played our first home hockey game against Lanner House.
Our Juniors played a great game narrowly losing by 4 goals to 3.
At half time our Seniors were ahead 7 to 0. In true Greyton House spirit, our coach decided to mix up the teams & continue the game as a friendly match. Both schools had a great time!
The fire brigade came to visit us at school.
Several of our children took it upon themselves to raise funds for Tygerberg Children’s Hospital through the Children Who Can for Children Who Can’t Campaign. The children raised a combined amount of R1847. Giving back is an important skill we teach all children at Greyton House.
Our children’s art exhibition for the Greyton House Art Walk was loved by all that came to view it and some even mentioned that it was the best exhibition in town.
We joined the local Wednesday market for our annual Entrepreneurs Day!
Our Cross Country Event was attended by several schools in the area!
