Jacaranda International hosts annual Athletics Cluster. On Friday, 17 January 2023, Jacaranda International hosted the annual Athletics Cluster for the Valhalla cluster group at Sutherland High School in Centurion. The day started off with the participating schools showing off their team spirit by flying their flags high and Jacaranda International kick starting the event with a spectacular hip-hop style dance piece which had the crowd shouting at the top of their lungs.

“The annual event does not only show off the sporting talent that we have in Centurion, but also provides an opportunity the 14 participating schools to build connections and strengthen the spirit of all the different schools, staff and athletes”, says Jacaranda International’s Head of Sports, Brendon Wilken. Jacaranda International secured a total of 14 medals, with 6 of their athletes moving on to the District competition taking place on Friday, 24 February 2023. “I have no doubt that our athletes will once again shine and produce outstanding results as they always do. As a school we stand behind them 100% and wish them all the best for Friday”, concludes Brendon Wilken.
