Deutsche Internationale Schule Johannesburg host successful ‘Going for Guild’ Foot Drive
The Deutsche Internationale Schule Johannesburg’s annual Schulbasar (known by many in Johannesburg as the Bierfest) was again cancelled this year due to the ongoing Covid-10 pandemic.
This did not dampen the spirits of the DSJ community who ran a week-long ‘Going for Guild’ Foot Drive on aid of Guild Cottage. The response to this food drive was tremendous and the girls at Guild were full of smiles when the final donation arrived at their facility.
The DSJ also ran a virtual fundraiser which proved to be a huge success.
Tshegofatso Komape welcomed Annette Holtmann and Savo Ceprnich to Guild Cottage and received the donations from the Going for Guild Food Drive.
