Bryanston Primary getting egg-citied about donating this Easter
The Bryanston Primary School Easter Egg drive is an egg-citing event on the annual calendar. It aims to bring the community together to share in a little sweetness with those less fortunate over the Easter holiday period.
This year well over 8,000 Easter eggs have already been collected from the school learners and the aim to reach more than 12,000! The beneficiaries of all this sweetness this year will be the elderly from local old age homes, Refilwe Children’s Home in Lanseria, Charity begins with me and Act of Kindness.
Bryanston Primary School hope to make this year’s collection egg-stra special and would welcome any support from our community by donating chocolate coated marshmallow eggs (usually supplied in dispenser boxes or strips) to the school reception by the 20th March where deliveries will be organised to those less fortunate this season.
Says Mrs Bronwen Agostinetto, “Every donation is warmly received and the generosity of our children and parents never ceases to amaze us and I’m sure that this year will be no different and a cracking success. Every egg makes a big difference to someone this Easter and helps put smiles back on faces.” Mrs Agostinetto is a teacher at the school and the organiser egg-strodinaire of this wonderful initiative.
Together let’s get egg-cited this Easter season and make it eggs-stra special eggs-pecially with all that chocolate.
