Laerskool Stulting Primary’s Grade 3’s Pre Heritage Day Celebrations. This is in the spirit of Ubuntu and making a difference in the lives of others, in this case our incredible children, who are our future after all. 𝘐𝘴𝘯’𝘵 𝘪𝘵 𝘢𝘮𝘢𝘻𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘵𝘩𝘢𝘵 𝘸𝘦 𝘢𝘳𝘦 𝘢𝘭𝘭 𝘮𝘢𝘥𝘦 𝘪𝘯 𝘎𝘰𝘥’𝘴 𝘪𝘮𝘢𝘨𝘦 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘺𝘦𝘵 𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘳𝘦 𝘪𝘴 𝘴𝘰 𝘮𝘶𝘤𝘩 𝘥𝘪𝘷𝘦𝘳𝘴𝘪𝘵𝘺 𝘢𝘮𝘰𝘯𝘨 𝘩𝘪𝘴 𝘱𝘦𝘰𝘱𝘭𝘦? – 𝗗𝗲𝘀𝗺𝗼𝗻𝗱 𝗧𝘂𝘁𝘂 We also celebrated Heritage Day by sharing some of our favourite treats – South African foods. We got to taste milktart, koeksisters and biltong. We also learnt a lot about our Xhosa culture – “isonka samanzi” steamed bread and “umphokoho” – amasi and pap as well as samp “umnqusho”. In the Shona culture samp is called “mashazhari”. We had so much fun sharing all things local and “lekker” today.
