Congratulations on being selected as a leader at your school. What are you looking forward to the most during your term as leader? There’s a world of greatness that is waiting for this school and I see it. I have been honoured to take this vision and run with it. So, I simply look forward to seeing my school blossom like a flower and break free to greatness. However, where we currently stand, we have not fully developed the legs to support this greatness. To change that, I would like to see quality investments into students’ futures. This school is diverse, which means everyone must be catered to according to their strengths, be it sports, academics, culture, you name it. We ought to meet these demands.

What are your strengths and weaknesses? I’m confident, determined, equipped with amazing leadership skills and most importantly my communication skills are my biggest strength.

My weaknesses have to be the fact that I’m too honest and a perfectionist.

Is there anything you would like to change at your school? Yes, there are a couple of things I would like to change at my school. One of them is getting the students to be more involved in extracurricular activities.

What do you love the most about your school? Personally, Northern Academy is the pioneer of diversity. That’s what I have come to love about it. The languages, ideas, tastes, etc. they all come together at Northern Academy. That’s where our head as leaders is at.

Matric is your final year, from an academic point of view, what are you aiming for? I’m aiming for excellence academic results that will serve as a pillar for my future, impress my parents and also serve as a role model to other coming grade 12s.

What are your plans after matric in 2023? My plans for 2023 is studying in my dream university, furthering my modelling career and starting my own non-profitable organisation.

If you could be any superhero, who do you want to be and why? I would choose to be me. I believe we are our own superheroes and superheroes to others. There’s a hero in us all. It’s not about superspeed or flying in the sky anymore. Rather, it is all about putting ideas together and making things work. Northern Academy is full of heroes of this world, we just need to tap into that.
