Congratulations on being selected as a leader at your school. What are you looking forward to the most during your term as leader? I want to leave a legacy and encourage the learners of Northern Academy to becoming the best version of themselves. My goal is making sure that if the learners had to vote for me to become a prefect all over again, they would do it without hesitation

What are your strengths and weaknesses?

• Strengths: I strongly believe that my best virtue is that I’m assertive. I’m very strategic
• Weakness: Fear of failure

Is there anything you would like to change at your school? I would like the students to notice how important dreams are in this world we live in and that having vision gives you direction. Like I always say “Dreams are worth more than money”

What do you love the most about your school? The passion and pride that the teachers have in their work. They are truly a good example of our motto “Work To Achieve”

Matric is your final year, from an academic point of view, what are you aiming for? I would like to apply for Wits Medical School (Bachelor Of Medicine And Surgery).

What are your plans after matric in 2023? When I complete matric I would love to go to Medical School, the duration is 6 years. After that I want to specialise in Orthopaedic Surgery. I also plan to go to Italy after COVID-19 has been eradicated.

If you could be any superhero, who do you want to be and why? Batman. Batman is very courageous, because he doesn’t have any superpowers but still has the courage to face crazy villains and dangerous criminals. Batman puts his life in danger for his city and that makes him a courageous hero. He makes a difference when it comes to success and failure (and that represents me as a person).

On a regular Saturday, you will find me at… home with my friends.
