It gives us great pleasure to announce Mrs Gillian Jeffrey’s appointment as Executive Head of St Andrew’s School for Girls from January 2024.  St Andrew’s School for Girls is extremely fortunate to have four dedicated and capable Heads of Schools, who are supported by an excellent Business Manager and a strong Combined Management team; therefore, the Board has opted to incorporate the role of Senior School Head with that of Executive Head, a combined role that did exist previously at our School.

Mrs Jeffrey is passionate about girls’ education and whole-child development. She is invested in personal leadership development for students and believes that we should be aiming to empower each one to live, lead and inspire others through authentic interactions as this will ground them in our complex and ever-changing society.

Although Mrs Jeffrey is well known amongst our community, we extend a warm welcome to her and her family as she takes up the position of Executive Head of St Andrew’s School for Girls.

Mrs Ivanka Acquisto remains the Executive Head of St Andrew’s School for Girls until the end of 2023; however, under the current circumstances, we know that she will require time for her recovery process. In order to offer Mrs Acquisto this support and recovery time, Mrs Jeffrey will be appointed as acting Executive Head until such time that Mrs Acquisto can resume her official school duties.
