Kwakho Mzizi from Kingswood College  ran an impressive Personal Best of 10.15s in the U17 100m this past weekend (and a PB of 10.32 in the Semi-final) at the 2024 EPA Athletics Championships. A time that will send him through to the Nationals.

The fastest senior at the event ran 10.10 seconds, and the second fastest runner ran a 10.13s, so Kwakho could possibly compete on a Senior level. Olympic qualifying time is under 10 seconds. Kwakho had the 3rd fastest time out of the entire championship at 10.15s He will be competing in the EP Schools event this weekend at Komani.
