On 5 March 2026, Hoërskool Die Wilgers hosted its annual Orators competition – a highlight on the school’s cultural calendar. Learners impressed the audience with well-prepared speeches, confidence, and thoughtful engagement with relevant topics. Judges Hilda Kloppers and Christo Potgieter brought valuable expertise to the evening, providing constructive feedback and encouragement. The event celebrated not only public speaking talent, but also the development of confidence, critical thinking, and respectful expression.
