Hillcrest High School Gr 12 class of 2024 Senior Speech Night Prize Winners: At the Hillcrest High School Senior Speech Night, the school announced the Dux, Dux Proxime Accessit, and the learner who placed third in Grade 12 for 2024. All three learners were re-awarded their Honours Cum Laude for achieving aggregates of over 85% for the year. Congratulations to the Class of 2024 Prize Winners Leiah Kennedy was awarded the coveted Dux of the School and the trophies for Business Studies, Tourism, and Life Orientation.
Annika Adendorff, Dux Proxime Accessit, was awarded the Walshy Trophy for the Pursuit of Excellence, and recognised as the top achiever in Afrikaans, German – Foreign Language, Physical Science (Physics), Physical Science (Chemistry) and Physical Science (Combined Prize and shared the Trophy for Excellence in Mathematics and Science. Kiarra Chetty placed 3rd in Grade and was the Top Achiever for English, Creative Writing in English, English Literature, History, Life Sciences, and Mathematics and shared the Trophy for Excellence in Mathematics and Science. Luke Muller was the Top Achiever for Further Studies Mathematics Standard (AP Maths), Accounting and EGD.Charmonay Prinsloo – Afrikaans trophy for a pupil who shows a passion for the language.

- Morgan Walker was the Top Achiever in Dramatic Arts and awarded the English Trophy for a pupil who shows a Passion for the Language
- Kevaan Ramsern was the Top Achiever in Geography and won the Trophy for Public Speaking Grade 11 & 12 Nozbusiso Mzobe – Top Achiever in Isizulu – Mother Tongue Unam Mtsokoba – Top Achiever for Isizulu –Non-Mother Tongue
