JC Coetzer and Connor le Gassick participated in the South African National Swimming Championships in Gqeberha from 14-18 April and did exceptionally well. Connor made it into three B-finals, and JC made it into one final. This is an outstanding achievement as they had the opportunity to swim amongst some of South Africa’s best swimmers and Olympians.

Congratulations to Xavier Branco who participated in the Junior Nationals competition in Somerset West from 26-28 March. He captained the team that won 1st place, and he also won the trophy for Top Goal Scorer of the Tournament for the men’s section. Xavier has also been selected for the South African team travelling to the World Championship in Turkey from 16-25 July, and has been nominated as captain for this team as well.
