Gr 12 learner from Table View High School pursue her passion for photography

Lily-Ann Geldart, a Grade 12 learner at Table View High and a dedicated member of the Photography Club, has been recognised by the independent Klein Karoo community newspaper, Die Hoorn. Her striking photograph of an ostrich, captured at a local ostrich farm during the December holidays, was published as Photo of the Week.
In addition, Mr Mike Schafer, an author for Safari News, wrote a moving blog titled Through Her Lens, highlighting Lily-Ann’s inspiring journey. Diagnosed in 2021 with bilateral optic nerve glioma tumours, she has only 40% vision in her left eye — yet she continues to pursue her passion for photography with determination and creativity.
