During the SUBMERGED℠ Season, FIRST ® LEGO ® League the Edenvale High School robotics teams used creative thinking and LEGO ® technology to explore the layers of the ocean and bring their learnings and ideas to the surface as they “sea” into the future. Our regional competition was held on Saturday, 2 November. The Aqua Avengers team took part as one of 47 teams. It was a busy and fun-filled day. They received a third place for applying the core values of the FIRST ® LEGO League, which are respecting each other and accepting differences, discovering new talents and ideas, working creatively and persistently, applying and improving what you have learned, working together and having fun. Well, done to Mercy Khumalo, Kaitlyn and Kay-Leigh Govender, Ethan Moodley and Reabetswe Ndava.
