Congratulations to Curro Heuwelkruin’s Baseline Warrior – Liah Lucilla Rodriguez who shone at the Nelspruit Grand Prix! This tournament is the highest-ranking Tennis South Africa (TSA) Junior Tournament. In the youngest age group, under 12, the girls’ final was one for the history books. Local star Murunwa Nemavhidi played a three-hour 45-minute match against Limpopo rival Liah, with Liah winning 5-7, 7-5, and 6-3. Liah was the winner in both singles & doubles! Well done Liah – what an incredible achievement. She is currently in the top 9 under 12 girls in TSA.
