Congratulations to Curro Heuwelkruin’s Zara Teixeira! Zara shone at the SAIBC Regionals in Polokwane, earning her qualification to compete at the Annual South African International Ballet Competition in Cape Town later this year. She will now take the stage alongside talented dancers from the USA, Cuba, China, France, Spain, the UK and Germany — an incredible achievement and opportunity. This exciting milestone comes after a fantastic weekend where Zara was invited to perform in a group dance in Mzansi Ballet’s productions of Sean Bovim’s Private Presley Ballet and Michael Jackson – Heal the World in the cinema at Mall of the North in May 2026
