In a spectacular event that radiated prestige, the graduates of Crawford International La Lucia took
centre stage, eagerly awaiting the presentation of their hard-earned matric results. The College Hall
was abuzz with excitement on Thursday, 18 January, at 11 am, as the Class of 2023 gathered for an
exclusive Matric Results ceremony. Treating the graduating class with the reverence they deserved, the students revelled in the tangible delight of seeing their results in print, marking this an emotional and unforgettable moment. Cal Warwick, the College Principal, took to the podium, sharing impressive statistics that underscored the remarkable achievements of the 2023 Matric body.
A highlight of the event was the unveiling of the Top 10 achievers for Crawford International La Lucia, injecting an element of surprise and elevating the celebratory atmosphere. The announcement was met with exuberant cheers, turning the occasion into a festive celebration of success.
The festivities continued with an indulgence of oversized donuts and non-alcoholic champagne,
allowing students and guests alike to savour the sweet taste of success. Laughter filled the air as
attendees snapped countless photos, capturing the joyous moments and reflecting on a year marked
by growth, relationships, and lasting memories.
The Class of 2023 showcased unparalleled academic excellence, achieving a perfect 100% overall
pass rate. With an impressive 99% Bachelors Degree pass rate and a rarefied 1% Diploma pass rate,
the 91 graduates averaged 3.29 distinctions each, underscoring their collective commitment to
excellence. Crawford International La Lucia’s rigorous academic standards are evident in these stellar
statistics, testifying to the exceptional achievements of the Class of 2023. Another moment of particular pride for Crawford International La Lucia was the outstanding performance of four students achieving 100% for Mathematics and the Hancock Twins, both achieving a Full House of 7 Distinctions each, contributing to a collective tally of 14 Distinctions for the school.

- Shaowen Chen: 9 distinctions, IEB Top 1% in Accounting, Life Sciences, Mathematics (100%),
and Physical Sciences. - Kaylen Desmond: 8 distinctions.
- Sarah Dunford: 8 distinctions, IEB Top 1% in Life Sciences and Visual Arts.
- Sen Iyavoo: 8 distinctions.
- Shubham Mohta: 8 distinctions, IEB Top 1% in Mathematics (100%).
- Raiyuri Pillay: 8 distinctions.
- Lanbo Zhao: 8 distinctions, IEB Top 1% in Mathematics (100%).
- Dhanvir Chandrikpersad: 7 distinctions, IEB Top 1% in Accounting, Mathematics (100%), and Further Studies Mathematics Calculus and Algebra.
- Yajneel Duttoo: 7 distinctions, IEB Top 1% in Accounting.
- Jordan Hancock: 7 distinctions, IEB Top 1% in Life Sciences.
- Louisa Hancock: Accomplished 7 distinctions, also IEB Top 1% in English Home Language.
- Jaiden Naidu: Earned 7 distinctions, also IEB Top 1% in Business Studies.
- Georgia Paola: Achieved 7 distinctions.
- Ross Paterson: Attained 7 distinctions, also IEB Top 1% in Engineering, Graphics and Design,English Home Language.
