Competition Terms & Conditions

The promoter is: TieMedia Group (Pty) Ltd (company no. 2013 / 120215 / 07) whose registered office is at 376 Main Road, Paarl.

The competition is open to residents of South Africa aged 8 years or over except employees of any TieMedia and their close relatives and anyone otherwise connected with the organization or judging of the competition.

There is no entry fee and no purchase necessary to enter this competition.

By entering this competition, an entrant is indicating his/her agreement to be bound by these terms and conditions.

Only one entry will be accepted per person.

Closing date for entry will be 30 September 2022. After this date the no further entries to the competition will be permitted.

No responsibility can be accepted for entries not received for whatever reason.

The rules of the competition and how to enter are as follows:

• Follow the AWSUM Facebook page in your region.
• Enter your email address and select your region from the dropdown menu

To enter the competition all entrants must comply with the competition by submitting the details as requested. Entries will be considered incomplete and thus disqualified if the entrant does not provide all requested information.

The promoter reserves the right to cancel or amend the competition and these terms and conditions without notice in the event of a catastrophe, war, civil or military disturbance, act of God or any actual or anticipated breach of any applicable law or regulation or any other event outside of the promoter’s control. Any changes to the competition will be notified to entrants as soon as possible by the promoter.

The promoter is not responsible for inaccurate prize details supplied to any entrant by any third party connected with this competition.

The prize is as follows:

• One pair of Veldskoen shoes, from their Heritage range, worth R999
• The prize is as stated and no other alternatives will be offered. The prizes are not transferable.

Winners will be chosen: at random by software, from all entries received and verified by Promoter and or its agents as a result of a popular vote conducted via social media sites as measured and recorded and verified by Promoter and or its agents.

The winner will be notified by phone call/WhatsApp within 28 days of the closing date. If the winner cannot be contacted or do not claim the prize within 14 days of notification, we reserve the right to withdraw the prize from the winner and pick a replacement winner.

The promoter will notify the winner when and where the prize can be collected / is delivered.

The promoter’s decision in respect of all matters to do with the competition will be final and no correspondence will be entered into.

By entering this competition, an entrant is indicating his/her agreement to be bound by these terms and conditions.

The competition and these terms and conditions will be governed by South African law and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of South Africa.

The winner agrees to the use of his/her name and image in any publicity material, as well as their entry. Any personal data relating to the winner or any other entrants will be used solely in accordance with current South African data protection legislation and will not be disclosed to a third party without the entrant’s prior consent.

Entry into the competition will be deemed as acceptance of these terms and conditions.

This promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with, Facebook, WhatsApp or any other Social Network. You are providing your information to TieMedia and not to any other party.

TieMedia ‘s decision as to those able to take part and selection of winners is final. No correspondence relating to the competition will be entered into.

TieMedia shall have the right, at its sole discretion and at any time, to change or modify these terms and conditions, such change shall be effective immediately upon posting to this webpage.

TieMedia also reserves the right to cancel the competition if circumstances arise outside of its control.

You (the entrant) will be asked to provide your (e-mail address and region).

The Promoter and its affiliates collect and will use your personal data listed hereby in order to enable your participation in this competition and related online activities.

Completion of a contact form is required for registration. All of the data entered into the form by you is collected, processed and used by TieMedia solely for the purpose of (potentially) winning in a competition as well as our own legitimate commercial interests. The storage and use of your personal data always occurs in accordance with the applicable data protection regulations.

Your personal data will be available exclusively for the Promoter’s, its affiliates and subsidiaries’ marketing purposes and, by participating in the competition, you expressly consent to the transfer, storage and processing of the data in South Africa.

The Promoter will not use your (the entrants) information for a different purpose without first asking permission to do so. The Promoter may however share the entrant’s personal information with any of its subsidiaries worldwide, or with authorized third parties.
