Chelsea Preparatory School Term 1 highlights. Lit Quiz: Chelsea Preparatory School entered two teams in this year’s Kids’ Lit Quiz, which took place on Monday, 13 February 2023 at Westville Senior Primary School. Both teams thoroughly enjoyed the afternoon, answering ten rounds of ten literary questions with topics such a Pigs, Spiders, Metals, Weapons, Wands, Witch and Famous myths and legends.

Chelsea’s Team 1 was placed third with 74 points and Chelsea’s Team 2 scored an impressive 69 points. Both teams faced sudden death challenges where there were ties in scores and both were awarded vouchers for coming top in certain categories. “All credit goes to these avid readers and to their parents for reading to their children at a young age, instilling in them a passion for books. The Kids’ Lit Quiz is an annual literature quiz for students aged 10 – 13 years.  Quizzes are held in Australia, Canada, Hong Kong, Indonesia, New Zealand, Nigeria, Singapore, South Africa, Thailand and the USA.  The winning team from each heat competes in a National Final. National champions compete in the World Final.
