In the first two years of its existence, the CCA has performed on a weekly basis in either the Moederkerk of Stellenbosch or other venues in and around Greater Cape Town. It has also performed major works for choir and orchestra, such as Mozart’s Mass in G No. 1, Bach’s Cantata Ich freue mich in dir, Vivaldi’s Magnificat, and Die Kaapse Fantasie, composed by the learners and staff of the Cape Choral Academy.

The CCA further values the importance behind establishing a community inspired by cross-cultural learning and collaboration to honour the broad demographics reflected by the Western Cape and beyond the borders of South Africa. By sharing the stage with the boys from Austria and our neighbours, DF Malan High School and Gateway Primary School, a big leap is taken to celebrate the power behind diversity, creativity, and singing without borders.
