Cannons Creek Independent School held its highly anticipated annual event, Things That Go, on Friday 11 April. It was well supported by friends and family who cheered the Pre-Primary pupils on as they notched up their laps on their various ‘wheeled’ apparatuses. The purpose of the event, other than socialising, was to also encourage healthy habits. Some of these healthy habits that are encouraged are staying healthy, building stamina, coordinating muscles, balance and posture. An event pupils look forward to is also the sibling’s race, where they can either show off their skills, or the younger ones can feel part of the event.

Lap after lap, these kids are having a blast – Grade R pupils Ariyaan Sheik, Ethan Vink, and Akudzweishe Maketo.
