Congratulations to Cannons Creek Independent School Grade 4 learner Adam Parkar for not only placing in the Top 10 finalists for the junior section of the South African Mathematics Challenge, but for also receiving a silver medal (one of only two Grade 4’s, whilst the rest were Grade 5’s).

He received his medal, certificate, and a cash prize at the prestigious SAMF (South African Mathematics Foundation) awards lunch in Johannesburg on Saturday 25 October where the event MC was well-known TV personality Jeremy Maggs. He was accompanied by his parents and sister Nabeela (Class of 2019) and Cannons Creek representative, Mr Mike Ford who also received the award for the top new school on behalf of Cannons Creek.
