Cannons Creek hosted the under 13 Hockey Tournament

Cannons Creek Independent School hosted an U13 hockey festival on Friday 29 May 2026 at Hartleyvale Astro. This 8-a-side format event aimed at affording teams an opportunity to participate in multiple matches against various schools.
Eight schools – Herschel Prep, Rallim Preparatory, Pinelands North Primary School, Micklefield Primary, Western Province Preparatory School, Pinehurst Primary School, Sweet Valley Primary School, and Cannons Creek Independent School, gained valuable experience and importantly had fun.

“It was a successful day for all the players involved and their teamwork really came together as they moved through each stage. It was a day of playing so no scores were kept, just teams playing a sport they love. Well done to all who participated,” said Ms Emily Jenkins (Primary School Sport Co-ordinator).
