On 30 August, the Cannons Creek High School Music learners presented their Spring concert – Rhapsody in Bloom – with great excitement. The current Grade 11 Music class conceptualized and organized the concert, from the poster and programme design to the overall look and feel of the evening. This annual concert is a culmination of the work and dedication of music pupils and their specialist teachers during the year, and this year’s concert was once again of the highest standard, showcasing our senior musicians and ensembles. In keeping with Cannons Creek’s holistic approach, non-subject Music pupils were among the standout solo performances of the evening. “The evening was a success with many memorable performances from our talented pupils.” – Ms Bronwyn Harvey, HOD: Culture.
